This is a conceptual precedent because it represents the idea of compactability that we want to incorporate in our project.
This is an aspirational precedent because it is a really advanced project that connects to our project through the ideas of compactability and portability.
This is a comparable precedent because it is similar to my idea for our project and it is a product that you can actually buy.
This is a comparable precedent of a tarp that folds into a small container pouch. This is relevant because the idea of a structure and tarp contained in a small-ish backpack relies on getting a big tarp into a small area.
We noticed that the kids wanted to stand on the dowel at the bottom of the stick. They also were happy to play with any size of stick, big or small. The kids liked the animals we chose and we able to identify 2/3 of them (not the goat). They liked to sit on the base and the teachers also really liked how the base helped with their balance.
The Rocking Ranch is a versatile toy that allows the user to both work on their balance skills and play pretend. It includes a rocking base with removable dowels that each represent a different farm animal. The user of the Rocking Ranch can use the rocking base with a dowel or use the dowels on their own like a stick horse.
